HippoSport Linseed Oil is a cold-pressed, native linseed oil. It ensures healthy skin and a shiny coat. At the same time, it supports digestion and improves nutrient absorption in the horse's intestines. It also offers an optimal supply of essential omega-3 fatty acids and provides easily digestible energy without an excessive protein load.

feeding recommendation

to enrich the feed with unsaturated, essential fatty acids:
adult horses: 50ml/day
young and small horses: 25ml/day
Even small amounts are sufficient to upgrade the ration with omega-3 fatty acids. In this case, about 50-75ml per day are mixed with the concentrated feed. If, on the other hand, you want to make the ration more energy-rich, larger amounts can also be given.

with increased energy requirements:
Performance horses can easily receive 250-500ml linseed oil daily as an energy concentrate. In order to achieve optimal fat absorption in the small intestine, the horse should get used to the desired amount in the first two weeks by gradually increasing the daily dose and should not receive more than 200 ml of linseed oil per meal.
The energy content of 300 ml linseed oil roughly corresponds to the energy content of 1 kg of oats.
