Ludgers N ELECTROLYTES | LIQUID provides a fast and effective compensation for a loss of electrolytes and vital substances caused by heavy sweating, stress or diarrhoea. The contained dextrose and glycine promote sodium absorption.

One 50 ml unit compensates the total loss of chloride, sodium, potassium and magnesium from 1.5 litres of sweat.

Usage

Ludgers N ELECTROLYTES | LIQUID can be used:
  • for moderate, intensive or prolonged exertion with loss of perspiration
  • in case of fluid loss (e.g. during diarrhoea)
  • after long transports
  • following the birth of foals

Feeding recommendation for ELECTROLYTES | LIQUID
Mix Ludgers N ELECTROLYTES | LIQUID into the drinking water or feed or administer it directly into the horse's mouth with the help of a syringe. Fresh water should be available for the horse at all times. Shake well before use!

To ensure an ideal restoration of electrolyte loss, it is recommended to continue feeding the same amount of Ludgers N ELECTROLYTES | LIQUID for 2-3 days after intensive use.

Endurance sport: Ludgers N ELECTROLYTES | LIQUID can be given on the same day of an endurance ride. However, make sure that it is diluted with plenty of water and that it is placed directly next to the usual fresh water bucket.
